Vintage and Historical Wall Murals
Old maps, travel posters and period photographs give a room a past. A vintage mural suits people who find brand-new and matching a bit dull. It brings in worn edges, faded inks and lettering from another era, and it gets along well with furniture that has some age on it too.
Where it works
- Studies, libraries and home offices, where maps and documents have always belonged on the wall
- Pubs, barbershops and restaurants that are building a period look and need the walls to match
- Hallways, where a long map or a run of poster art gives people something to browse as they pass
- Bedrooms for older kids and teens who have moved well past cartoon themes
Choosing yours
Decide how aged you want to go. Clean reproductions of classic posters read as art. Heavily distressed maps and documents read as atmosphere. Both work, but rarely in the same room, so pick a lane. Sepia and faded tones are also forgiving: they hide a lot in older GTA homes, including walls that are not perfectly straight, which is one honest reason this category stays popular. A family photograph from decades ago can join this range too, printed large once we have checked the scan quality.
Made to fit your wall
We print vintage designs in our Mississauga shop, made to your wall's measurements and produced in 24-inch panels. These images hide seams well, which makes them a good do-it-yourself hang. Choose peel and stick for a rented place, traditional paste for a permanent study wall, or commercial-grade vinyl for pubs and restaurants. GTA installation is available, and we ship across Canada.
Browse the collection, or send us a map or photograph you already own through the quote tool. We will check the file and lay it out in panels for your wall.
