Wall Murals for Schools & Universities

School hallways are some of the hardest-working walls in any building, and most of them are painted cinder block in a colour nobody chose on purpose. A mural can do two jobs at once there: give students something that belongs to their school, and quietly help people find their way around it. Colour-coded wings, a mascot at the main entrance, a map near the office all make a big building easier for a nervous grade nine on the first day.

Where it works

  • Main entrances, with the school name, crest and colours at full scale
  • Hallways, where murals double as wayfinding between wings, gyms and offices
  • Libraries and learning commons, with reading-themed or subject-based imagery
  • Gyms and athletic areas, for team graphics, records and championship history
  • Cafeterias and student commons, the loudest rooms in the building, made deliberate

Choosing yours

Involve the building's reality in the choice. Corridor walls get backpacks, shoulders and the occasional hockey bag, so imagery should be bold and simple enough to read in motion, and fine detail belongs in libraries and classrooms where people sit still. School colours and the mascot are the safe backbone; student artwork, local history and subject themes (a periodic table wall outside science, a world map near geography) all earn their place. Get the administration's sign-off on final art early, because everyone will have an opinion.

Made to fit your wall

Murals are printed in Mississauga in 24-inch panels, sized to long corridor runs and stairwell walls as easily as to a single classroom. For schools we recommend commercial-grade vinyl almost every time: it takes daily contact, disinfectant wiping and years of traffic without going tired. Installation is scheduled for evenings, weekends and breaks, across the GTA and beyond, so classes are never displaced.

To price a hallway or a single wall, use the quote page: upload the artwork or a photo, enter the measurements, and review the panel layout before we go to print.
